Nickel alloy

Nickel alloy

Nickel is the element symbol Ni, chemical element number 28, high strength with metallic luster silver white metal. A metal with good ductility and electrical conductivity and, although weaker than iron or samarium cobalt, has high magnetic strength. Less chemical reactivity, more stable than iron, in the air to form a protective oxide film. Nickel reacts very slowly with oxygen, water, and most acids or bases, so it is used for gold plating of high temperature and corrosion resistant metals.
